Colonial Beach Dragway : 6.00 Class Rules Colonial Beach 6.0 Class Rules 1) Qualifying - ?Run 5.99 or faster in both qualifying passes then you go to the back of the field. If you run 6.001 in one qualifying run and 5.99 in another. You will use the 6.001 as your qualifying time. 2) 6.00 Break Out- Run faster than a 6.000 in eliminations and you lose. If two cars run 5.99 or faster against each other in eliminations the closest one to 6.000 wins. 3) Fouls - Races with both cars in fault situation- FIRST OR WORST will apply.? 4) Tires - Must be DOT approved. 28x12.50 Mickey Thompson Et Street or 28x11.50 Hoosier QT Pro. No taller than 28 inches (Actual measurement). No wider than 10 inches (Actual measurement). Drag radials permitted within stated limits including 28x11.50x15 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radial. 5) Power Adder ? 1 Type only. Either Turbo, blower or nitrous. Diaper recommended for nitrous. No combination unless 4 or 6 cyl. 6) Exhaust ? Working exhaust with mufflers are required. 7) Wheelie Bars ? Not allowed. 8) Safety - Fully operational parachute required.? Neck collar, fire jacket, pants and helmet required. 9) Chassis - Front frame is required, No tube chassis cars. Stock, 3 link and 4 link suspensions are allowed. Roll cage is mandatory at a 6 point minimum - 12 point cage recommended.? Window net suggested. 10) Standard Equipment ? Head lights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights are required must be working. 11) Elimination Ladder ? A 16 car field will be qualified for eliminations. Eliminations will run on a pro tree using a pro ladder: 1 runs 16, etc. 12) RAIN OUT - If it rains out it will be rescheduled for the next available race if at all possible. 13) POINTS - Points will be kept for a year-end prize.? Registration for points and car number will be $40.00. 14) FUEL ? Gasoline only ? No Alcohol? 15) ELECTRONICS - Trans brakes permitted.? No Delay boxes.? No Throttle stops.? No down track stutters (all electronics must be removed from the car) 16) Body - All body panels must be on car.? Fiberglass hood, bumpers, fenders and deck lids are allowed.? No forward facing hood scoops allowed.? No air cleaners permitted through hood.? No Lexan windows except rear window of truck. 17) Imports -? All 6 and 8 cylinder cars with all or rear wheel drive will follow rules 1 -5.? All front wheel drive 4 cylinder are exempt from rule 4.? You may use a slick designated to a 13x26x10 maximum size.? (Front wheel drive cars are allowed to run slicks only). 18) Fighting - Any competitor (driver and crew) involved in a physical altercation with others will be subject to immediate disciplinary action and may result in disqualification and loss of points.? Drivers are responsible for the actions of their crew. 19) Track official makes final decision.
